As a Pediatric Dentist, my goal is to provide an enjoyable and positive dental experience for your child. As a parent of two young children, I understand that you are looking to entrust your child with someone they will comfortable with and who will provide the best possible care for a child.
I enjoy working with children and I have extensive training specifically on putting children at ease, building their trust, and working on small mouths. I want to inspire and educate your child to care about their teeth and overall health by providing a fun and comfortable visit, one which they will remember and look forward to as they grow.
I did my early education in Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia, before moving to the Northern Virginia area for high school. I received my doctorate degree in dentistry at the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry, and completed my residency in my specialty of Pediatrics at New York University. Following the completion of this residency, I returned to Northern Virginia where I have been practicing exclusively as a Pediatric Dentist and treating children for over 10 years. I have extensive experience in behavior management, nitrous oxide sedation, oral sedation, and treating patients under general anesthesia. I am current in the latest in child healthcare and modern dental techniques. I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
When not at work, my two amazing children keep my husband and me busy. We love traveling, creative cooking, and being outdoors. At Shirlington Pediatric Dentistry, children’s smiles and their well being are our first priority.
